Thank you-Haiyan relief efforts

Thanks, all, for your efforts to raise funds for the Philippines typhoon disaster. We raised approximately 525 dollars, and 7 boxes of food, 3 cases of water, and 1 box of toiletries. Thank you, all. Especially, Bianca, for all the collection efforts, and Lauren and the students of the MountainServe for their good work. Further on down the road, the University of San Carlos will welcome you with open arms. Thanks again.

“No man is an island entire of itself; every man
is a piece of the continent, a part of the main;
if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe
is the less, as well as if promontory were, as
well as any manor of thy friends or of thine
own were; any man’s death diminishes me,
because I am involved in mankind.
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

John Donne, Meditation XVII Devotions Upon Emergent Occasions, 1624
