Sad Sad day for America–the truly great political journalist Tim Russert died this afternoon at his Washington bureau office of NBC of a heart attack. What a loss. The last of truly great journalists–a true patriot, one who loved and respected the common people, and knew the system would work and did his work well to make it so.  I don’t think I have missed Meet the Press sunday mornings all these years. What a sad day for journalists all over the world. Just a real decent human being. Rest in Peace, Tim Russert. You were loved and respected by many.
